Charming historic building with lovely character.

The noise from the square was absolutely unbearable! I barely slept due to loud parties and the hustle and bustle outside. Additionally, the absence of an elevator was a huge inconvenience. navigating the steep stairs with luggage felt like a workout rather than a vacation. To top it off, the lack of air conditioning turned the nights into an uncomfortable sauna, making it impossible to find any relaxation.

the hotel has charm, but it certainly lacks basic comfort. there’s no AC, and it gets incredibly hot at night—who thought that was acceptable? also, the lack of an elevator makes lugging bags a workout, not a welcome getaway. if only they had acknowledged my needs with a room upgrade. almost gave them a good review, but just couldn’t.

I had a lovely stay in a small double room. The staff were super cute, even with my poor Spanish. I got an early check-in after arriving on a night bus. The bed was comfortable, and the place has tons of character with its high ceilings and brick walls. 😊

This hotel was a good match for a getaway in Valparaiso with very good value for money. The old wooden charm of the building added a lot to the experience. Be prepared for some noise from the square at night.

staying here made it easy for me to explore the picturesque plaza sotomayor just a few steps away and enjoy the local cuisine at nearby bars and restaurants, perfect for a quick evening stroll.
